can’t open final cut pro from external hard drive

I have my footage and Library on my hard drive but since this morning FCP won’t open when i click on my Library and says “Final Cut Pro quit unexpectedly“. I tried to pluck the Stick back in but it won’t change. A restart didn’t help either. There are a few backups on the Harddrive but none of them will open.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.2

The hard drive is the system drive inside the computer, or something else? What's the drive? How is it connected? How is it formatted?

"pluck the Stick back in"

What is the SticK? Is that a jump drive? What does it have to do with what you're doing in FCP?

Whenever the application crashes, quits unexpectedly, you should trash your settings? Hold Opt-Cmd as you launch the application.
