Verification not available

I keep getting a message saying ‘verification not available’. It’s been a couple of days now and I don’t know what to do, I can’t add one of my cards (all others worked fine). This is a new phone and I’ve been using the card for years in my old one. I’ve also already tired everything in the article including signing out of my Apple ID and back in again

The verification process is “driven” by your ccard issuer based on the info which they have on-file for your account.


I suspect that your issue might be be caused by “stale / dated” info in your issuer’s records.


Suggest you contact your issuer and ensure that all of their “on-file” contact info is indeed accurate …


… and that any old, no longer valid info has been removed. (vice your new info simply being “added” to the “old)
