Battery Level Graph

I’ve had on three occasions where my battery level appears with no lines of color as if it were dead, but my battery is charged as you can see. Yesterday i happen to look at the graph and noticed the same, but I was not on my phone during this time frame. We were at a Best Buy store I do have the latest iOS installed.
