Locked carrier/locked sim card
So I bought this phone from my friend and it’s saying it’s sim locked and I can’t un lock it and I need it to be unlocked so my SIM card works

Only the carrier the phone is locked to can unlock it for use on other networks.
You (or the person you purchased it from) will have to contact that carrier and request an unlock.
