How do I unlock the sim on my iPhone X?

My phone says it is already unlock but it says carrier lock or sim lock

If it says Carrier Lock or Sim Lock......your phone is still locked.

Please contact your carrier and ask them to remove the lock on the phone.

Apple is not involved in this at all.
