Logic Pro X glitching when I try to import any .mp3 file

I'm running MacOS Ventura 13.2.1. I just bought a new computer and backed it up from a time machine, but now when I try to drag & drop an .mp3 into Logic, it just glitches and sounds super sped up and distorted. Then, when I try to change the .mp3 into a .wav or .aiff to try to import it that way, Logic says the file doesn't exist or file not found (error code -43), even though my computer will play it just fine. Anyone have any idea what's going on or how to fix it?

This is a well known bug appeared with Logic 10.6 or later, but (i thought) solved already.

What Logic version your are working with?

If you don't like to update, convert the mp3 with any other software than Logic into an uncompressed format.

Also make sure your audiofiles don't have any special characters in their name like "? [] / \ = + <>; : , |" and so on.
