Logic Pro project audio cuts out after a few seconds

I have a project file that seems to be broken. When I play the file it plays normally for a few seconds and then craps out (fizzles, distorts, 580db clips, even infinity clips sometimes). I’ve tried increasing buffer size, opening logic with audio units disabled, bypassing and even deleting every plugin and bus, setting every output to Stereo Out. I also tried importing all the files into a new session (using both a template and a blank project). I’ve tried reverting to previous backups within the file that were saved before this problem started and even opening an older version of the song on my computer that was saved under a different file and name. None of this fixed the problem. I’m working off an internal hard drive. Please help. Apple support sent me here because it’s not a global issue with logic, only particular sessions are affected so they refused to help me.
