In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the postal code is called the "Postal Code" or "ZIP Code." Unlike some other countries, the UAE does not use a comprehensive postal code system for the entire country. Instead, specific areas or districts within cities might have individual postal codes or none at all.

For example, in Dubai, specific areas might have postal codes, but many locations might not have one. Abu Dhabi and other emirates follow a similar pattern.

When mailing something within the UAE or receiving mail from abroad, the postal code might not always be required. However, if you are asked for a postal code, you can use "00000" (five zeros) or check with local authorities or your specific area's post office for any specific codes if available.

Keep in mind that postal code systems can change and evolve over time, so it's always a good idea to verify the most up-to-date information with local sources or the UAE's official postal service if you have specific mail or shipping requirements.
