Hi,

The Canon support page has drivers for macOS 12 Monterey:

https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/pixma-ix6820

(DOWNLOADS -> Software & Drivers)

However, the Canon iX6820 is listed in About AirPrint - Apple Support as a model supporting Apple's AirPrint technology, so additional drivers should not be needed, provided that the printer and the Mac are connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router).

Reset the printing system on your Mac to solve a problem – Apple Support (UK)

Add a printer to your printer list so you can use it on Mac – Apple Support (UK)

The Canon PIXMA iX6820 works great with macOS Monterey.

I've been using my iX6820 printers (wore out the first one!) for a wide variety of projects with Monterey on both my Intel iMac 2019 and my M1Pro MacBook Pro 2021.

As my inserted image illustrates, if you need additional printer settings beyond the choices AirPrint provides, they are available if you choose to download and install the Canon files from the Canon website, as other commenters have linked.

In my very limited experience, only the AirPrint settings are available if you choose to upgrade to macOS Ventura.

I installed it on an external drive for testing with my iMac, and my first attempt at printing was a big disappointment.
