iPad can no longer mirror to Apple TV. Stopped after a power outage. Have tried all of the listed resets but no good. Unit will still play programming, just not mirroring.

The 1st generation is from 2007, so you probably have a different model. The 1st generation model did never support AirPlay; that was introduced for 2nd generation and later.

- What happens instead when you try to mirror? Does the iPad detect the Apple TV box as a possible destination device, for you to select?
- Is the Apple TV box re-registered with a valid Apple ID account? AirPlay may not be available without that.
- What type of content are you trying to stream? Some content providers don’t make any effort to make their (web) streams Airplay-compatible. Other content providers block AirPlay completely (e.g. Netflix). Other content providers may have minimum system requirements for the destination device (e.g. 4th generation or later).
