iPad - how to change the lock screen clock font after updating to iPadOS 16.6?

I just updated my iPad to iPadOS 16.6 and now the lock screen clock is the hideous bold typeface. How do I change this to not be bold. I want the more attractive previous typeface back. I don't want BOLD - I don't need my clock screaming at me please.

Unlike iOS16 for iPhone, iPadOS 16 for iPad does not [yet] support lock screen customisation. Likewise, the new active Astronomy and Weather Wallpapers are currently exclusive to iOS16.x for iPhone.

Apple announced at WWDC that Lock Screen customisation may be included with iPadOS17. Whether or not this feature will be included at release, or later in the iPadOS17 lifecycle, may not be know until later this year.
