Does MacBook's hinge get stiff in cold temperature?

When put under cold temperature, and there is humidity, then the bezel may expand, making the hinge become stiff. Apple does not cover intentional damage (no that this is). So, yes, take this to your local Apple Store. There, it will be evaluated, and you'll be provided with your options.

Apple has stated to give it time, it'll loosen with use.

The hinge should not get appreciably stiffer in cold weather. Generally when that happens, it's the grease and oils that stiffen, not the metal or plastic. And the hinge should never be lubricated unless Apple directs you to do so. I kind of doubt that's going to happen.

Keeping this at Room Temperature:

I would recommend keeping it out of direct sunlight and out of the corner of a room or desk. Place it atop laptop cooler and then place it in a laptop case for safe keeping.

Facing the issue right now, for the past 4 days. Not sure what's the issue "Winter", "Dust". It doesn't make any noise. It's just stiff. Let me know if the issue is resolved for you.
