Dead pixels on Apple Watch

Dead pixels on my less than a month old watch… my first gen watch had no issues but this one has already given out. Sent it in for repair and got it two days later saying nope can’t fix it and a letter was supposed to be sent as for why. The letter just stated what I got back and that was my watch. This is frustrating when the guy at apple stated that it was covered under the protection plan and it would either me fixed or replaced.

A series 1 watch on OS6 cannot be less than a month old. Maybe your chosen device when posting the questionwas wrong.

Your best advice is to talk to the guy at apple again, but your legal redress is entirely dependant on the consumer laws in your country of purchase.

If you have paid-for AppleCare+ plan then it really should not be a problem to have it replaced under the express replacement. There is a policy on dead pixels vs bright pixels but they will have to explain that to you.

In the UK under the 2015 act it should be handed back for a full refund.
