Left Apple Watch in Hot Vehicle Several Days - Won't Turn On - Help!

I unknowingly left my apple watch in our vehicle - it fell between the seats - and I had surgery so was out of it for a couple of weeks and just relocated it. It sat in 70-110 degree temps for over four weeks in the car. I am trying to recharge it but just gets hot and won't charge. Light turns green on charger but when removed goes back to red.

Any help or do I need to return to apple to get it fixed?

Hello, check out this article Keep Apple Watch within acceptable operating temperatures - Apple Support

and you also might need to contact Apple support as well it might be your battery due to it being left in the heat for weeks.
