Film in iTunes without English subtitles

Hello all,

I recently purchased a film (Top Gun - classic) via iTunes (Windows app).

I turned it on and wanted to turn on the English subtitles (I am not English native speaker) and to my shock there were NO English subtitles in the subtitle menu.

I struggle to believe that there are no English subs available so it must be a matter of setup.

Can someone please help me put where do I turn the English subs on?

I planned to purchase more films via the iTunes but this is a deal breaker for me.
