1) With what Apple device—model, sub-model, and OS version— are you using the mouse?
2) Is this a Apple mouse or of another brand? If APple
3) DId the mouse work properly in the past, or has this alwasy been a problem?
4) If an Apple Mouse, is it turned on and fully charged or, if a older model, are the batteries fresh?
5) Is this sporadic behavior or an "all the time" condition?

My Apple Bluetooth mouse, keyboard, and external trackpad will lose connection to my iMac if I place my iPhone on the keyboard tray. When I move the phone two feet away, the connection resumes.
