Sharing Caledar Events

My nephew has my calendar event notifications showing up on his iphone. I gave him my old iphone which was wiped clean but has since got a new phone and it still my events show on his phone?

iPhone SE, iOS 16

This defines the proper “wiped clean” process. Is this what was done?

If so, hopefully your Apple ID has never been shared. Each person requires their own Apple ID.
