I am not sure how to connect my wireless keyboard to my new MAC Ventura 13.1 to recharge. There are 4 ports on the backside of my MAC - does it matter which one I plug the keyboard into to recharge it?

no it does not matter. you can use any available port to charge your keyboard.
and you can look into your menubar bluetooth settings to see that the keyboard is charging. the keyboard line will be greyed out and there will be a lightning bolt superimposed on the battery icon.

as an aside, your question shows "Ventura 13.1". the current release of Ventura is 13.5.
