Apple Music is a subscription, -> Subscribe to Apple Music. You can listen to millions of songs, and enjoy exclusive playlists, live radio, music videos, and more on all your devices.
Apple Music is not buy music in the iTunes Store.
Correct, As such, it is irrelevant when purchasing songs. You can purchase songs whether or not you have a music subscription. Having the subscription is meaningless in this situation.

The songs are stored in iTunes directly, more specifically in a media folder under the iTunes folder in your user account.
It doesn't realty matter where, as iTunes can burn a CD directly itself by selecting the tracks from within iTunes.
Follow the steps in the links above.
