Airpods Max

I recently bought second hand Aipod Max and before I bought them I checked the Serial number on the apple website and it has come up. The same serial number comes up in my phone however the quality of this product is not genuine. Is there someone I can contact or a way to check?

Hey there cat1052,

We'd like to help address both of your questions. The only way to have your AirPods verified would be to have them inspected by a tech in person. This link will show the nearest service locations, contact details, and available appointment slots under the ‘Service & Support’ section: Find Locations

With the above in mind, for your other question, what exactly is the issue that leads you to believe the used AirPods you purchased are not genuine? The more details you provide, the better we'll understand what's happening, and possibly help to resolve it.

Cheers!
