When redeeming a gift card, (1) the amount will be credited to your Apple Account balance and (2) then you need to set your Apple Account balance as your default payment.

If you already use your Apple Account balance, the Apple Gift Card or App Store & iTunes gift card is automatically added to your Apple Account balance.

So basically i ordered a gift card from Walgreens

If you can't redeem the Apple Gift Card or App Store & iTunes Gift Card, you must contact Walgreens and file your complaint with them and request a refund. You have proof of payment right?

If necessary, report to the police if you think you have been scammed.
