I'm using Ventura. Actually, I'm new to this OS and all prior ones had trash icons so I could highlight something in a folder and click on the trash icon and poof.

Try this, With a folder selected in the Finder, select "Customize Toolbar…" from the "View" menu, then drag the "Delete" icon into the Toolbar. The Trash icon will then be in all folder windows.

Go to Finder, right click on the menu area, Customize Toolbar, drag the "Delete" icon up into the menu where ever you want it.
Not sure what it is that you do not understand. This has nothing to do with pc.
Right-click or Control-click is the standard way to get a contextual menu in macOS, since the dawn of time...
Nothing has changed in this regard.
All you have to do is what Old Toad very clearly showed you, in pictures. Pay attention to the gif (moving image) that he posted. It as simple as he shows.
To reiterate: Control-click (that means hold down the Control key while you click), or Right-click (ie, click the right button if you have a two button mouse) on the toolbar and do as he shows. You can thus reinstate the Delete button:

Your original post shows a graphic of the Finder Menu. What I suggested would still work for you. Right click or press and hold the control key and then just click the mouse button for the menu I suggested.
I don't want to alter the desktop toolbar. I want to alter folder toolbars.
What is a right click? I never learned PC speak.

I never had a PC. And I still do not understand, anything but the right click now. Do I do the right click and hold the option key down.

So you were using PC as a term for your computer whitch is a Mac, right? PCs are Windows computers just so you know.

They do, but I've never had one where the right click was a user selectable option. It's just there natively to be used without having to set it up..
