I don't think it matters what the combined resolution is. A 15" M2 MacBook Air supports only a single first-class (hardware-driven) display.

MacBook Air (15-inch, M2, 2023) - Technical Specifications

There are workaround products that let you attach more displays, by using a driver to set up a virtual screen, and sending compressed snapshots of the screen to an external "stunt box" (hub, adapter) that has a corresponding "magic decoder ring" (e.g., DisplayLink chip set). E.g.,

SonnetTech DisplayLink Dual DisplayPort Adapter for M1 and M2 Macs

SonnetTech DisplayLink Dual HDMI Adapter for M1 and M2 Macs

OWC USB-C Dual HDMI 4K Display Adapter with DisplayLink

Synaptics – DisplayLink Graphics

These can have some drawbacks.

Yes and No. If you connect two monitors, their combined resolution can not exceed the graphics chip of the computer.

http://www.everymac.com/ is an excellent resource for knowing your computer's graphics chip capability.

An AppleTV can be also an added resource, using Airplay. However, video that is HDCP encrypted will not appear on Airplay.

Sadly Apple has not added eGPU support for Apple Silicon Macs.
