I use an apple ipad but a family member using family link gets notified when I do something like changing my password. I am wondering if they would get notified if I reset my settings. I'm also wondering, if I reset the settings will things like screen time be reverted or not.
I gather there are children involved (you have not said so)?

Resetting a phone will only remove screen time if the phone is then not restored using a backup that pre-dates Screen time having been set up.
I haven't heard of family link and I also have never heard of somebody being notifed when you change a password.
Resetting settings will only remove Screen Time if you do not then restore your device from a backup. Restoring will just restore the settings.
Thanks a lot for the reply. Family link is an application used on android. The main functions of the app are location tracking, the capability of blocking apps and being able to see which apps are on the device. You can also use it to see the screen times on devices.
I asked about the password because I changed the screen time password once and i also changed the apple ID password. Despite the fact that they had a samsung phone.
Ps the apple ID is one that they made for themselve but afterwards i used it on my device.
