How to setup up gmail hotkey on MacBook Pro?
I recently bit the bullet and replaced my Windows laptop with a MacBook Pro. After many years with Windoze, yes there is a learning curve but it's coming along.
One Windoze utility that I use frequently and have to believe is available on Mac somewhere is a hotkey utility. On my Windoze machine, I define certain keys, such as CTRL-C or whatever, and in the document or email I'm currently in, it inserts defined and frequently used text. Like in Word or Gmail, if I hit CTRL and C, it inserts text like "On the off chance you are using an older ionic converter, you may need to also upgrade the flux capacitor" or whatever I have defined for that particular keystroke.
Is this possible on Mac, either via built-in functionality or via a reasonable add-on? Thanks!
