After trying to restore 'Factory Settings' using 'Erase Assistant', I am being asked to "Enter the Apple ID for "(null)". What's that? It isn't my normal ID's password, which it says is 'Incorrect'!

I followed steps to restore Factory settings on a 2020 MacBook Air running Ventura 13.5 I recently got. All seemed to be going well until Erase Assistant sent a gray dialog box with a little cloud icon asking me to "Enter the Apple ID for "(null)"."
