locked out of apple laptop, the call the # that identified as Apple support, then grant remote access to supposed tech who then asked for my banking access?

I clicked on a yahoo email news article and was immediate locked out with screaming voice telling to call # from desktop that said it was Apple Support. When asked for banking info I knew it was scam and tech tried to prevent me from logging out of her remote access I had granted. I used left hand for Safari shutdown while simultaneously powering off with right hand and I could see her trying to block me from logging off but I was too quick lol.
