Already using my replace my device. My old device had the battery crash so I was unable to erase it to return. How do I erase the old one without losing my current info on my new device?

Hi there tawni32,

You won't be able to erase a device that won't power on. You can erase devices from iCloud.com, but the device would need to connect to Wi-Fi to complete the process, which it won't be able to do if it won't power on.

If your device is online, the remote erase begins after you follow the onscreen instructions. If your device is offline, the remote erase begins the next time it’s online.
