iMac14,2 is a Late 2013 iMac – not an Early 2013 one. Unfortunately, that doesn't change the answer with regards to Catalina.
It can be upgraded just with open core. Make it make sense
Thanks all. That’s what I expected. It’s an older model I keep in our winery. I do all our business on a new MacBook Air and iPad. At least I can listen to music—it was a corporate computer for home use back when I worked in Sunnyvale—escaped to Texas.
You could update it to 15.7.8...
I have one too, great for light computing/surfing/paying bills/messaging etc. It's here to stay (unless Apple reverts to the Classic look from the frivolous crayon colors currently on offer).
