Text added to my message from background talking

When I am texting and ask my husband a. Question, what I said appears in my text. Then I have to delete it and start again. This only started recently.

You probably tapped the mic icon, which turns on speech recognition.

texts that I didn't write or type My wife's phone constantly has texts on threads which she hasn't typed. they haven't been sent, but they are ready to send.
