Moving apps from library to home screen

I successfully moved an app to second group. How do I move another next to it

iPad mini 5, iPadOS 16

Hold down any app and select “Edit Home Screen” from there you should be able to move apps from page to page by holding them for 1-2 seconds on the end of the screen in the direction you want to move. Hold apps on top of one another to create a group of apps. Groups can be moved the same as singular apps. Lastly, you can move and organize home screens by tapping the allotted circles at the bottom of the screen while in editing mode.
