Mac mini will not turn on and it is flashing a red light

See if it will startup in macOS Recovery Mode or run the Apple Diagnostics Test.

If you can't start up from macOS Recovery - Apple Support

Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac - Apple Support

Tip: use a USB keyboard to invoke macOS Recovery Mode or the Apple Diagnostics Test.
