MacBook says its dead but it’s not

My MacBook Air will be completely charged but when I try to open it, it shows up as dead. The second I put it in charge it shows up as 98%. I’ve tried getting a new battery to resolve the issue, but nothing’s changed. Does anyone know what may have caused this or how to fix it?

My MacbookAir (2017) won’t charge. my MacBook Air 2017 won’t charge. I got it refurbished and it worked fine for a few months. I come back to use it and it it won’t charge. It’s fully dead and the light on the charger won’t turn on. I tried different outlets and charging bricks and it still won’t turn on (including the light on the charger. What should I do?

Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of your local Apple Store.
