When Apple Pay will be available in the United States Territory of Puerto Rico? We have the Apple Card available and we only can pay with Apple Pay If we have US Mailand Credit or Debit Cards. We want Local Banks with Apple Pay. Please we need Apple Pay. God bless you!!
Puerto Rican banks have to partner with Apple and the install the backend infrastructure to support Apple Pay. It costs banks approximately 10¢ on every $100 of transactions. It’s really up to the banks now.

I agree Jeff you are correct. It's really up to the local banks now. The only thing left is to partner with Apple, thank God we have the infrastructure. I hope get it soon.

You have to scroll down to availabilty and then you will see the Apple Pay map worldwide.
Apple Pay works with any contactless payment system. If the store or terminal accepts Tap To Pay, you all set. Your region may need to be set to US.

Hello Jeff God bless you!! Greettings!! Yes in Puerto Rico we have the contactless equipment and I do have credit cards from US and I always use them everywhere. I am talking about when Apple Pay will rolling out using Puerto Rico Banks because we can add cards to the Apple Wallet and use Apple Pay as payment method. I appreciate it for your comment and I do have my region as United States. Have a good night. PD: We have Availability but we don't have compatibility with Local Banks. Also we will be able to add Driver Licences and State ID's in the wallet soon :)Below I will send you a screen shot of one of the local bank
Ok I understand I noticed that before Apple Pay Rolled Out Chile and Vietnam those grey color dots were upon the countries map and the turned blue. Puerto Rico was not like that before It was just grey but not covered with grey dots.
Also Jeff when you check of Apple Pay Availability Map Puerto Rico has dots covering the and US Virgins Island as well. Have you now what that means? Thank you I will attach the picture for you!!

Those are countries around the world that don’t currently support Apple Pay (note the grey color).
I think it all the island nations in the area that produces the dots.
