Installing Window 11 on my 2019 Intel Mac on an external drive. Can I put a Mac OS on the drive and run bootcamp.
iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15
windows11 is not officially supported in bootcamp which itself is pretty much been discontinued as all the apple cpu m1 and m2 mX cpus does not support intel x86 windows at all
I have a 21.5 2019 Intel iMac. As it only has a 250G drive I want to put Windows 11 on an external USBc drive. I have seen a few suggestions on YouTube but I don't think I" have enough tech savvy to do them. I was wondering if I could put a Mac OS, for instance Catalina, on the external drive and install boot camp and then boot the system from the external drive using the option key at startup.
