Has Apple reverted back to allowing calendar and contacts syncing in iTunes for PCs?
Previously, we were told iTunes syncing for calendars and contacts was going away (except for the Cloud, which I won't use). Is it back?

Hello AnnLD,
You can still use iTunes on a PC to sync contacts and calendars to your iPhone, iPad or iPod. You'll find those options under the Info entry in the sidebar. The related article above also outlines that process: Use iTunes to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer - Apple Support
If you aren't seeing the option to sync those items, make sure those particular items are disabled in the iCloud settings for your device, and that iTunes is all up to date on your PC: Update iTunes on PC - Apple Support
Hopefully that addresses your inquiry.
Take care.

See If you see an alert in iTunes that says syncing contacts and calendars has been deprecated - Apple Support and this thread: sync calendar/contacts with iCloud versus… - Apple Community. As far as I am aware this feature has remained available since the first warning of its imminent demise. There is no knowing if or when Apple will finally throw the switch.

Hi AnnLD,
We do not have any information regarding the future of this feature or whether it will continue to be available. We'd encourage you to leave feedback for Apple to let them know your input using the link we provided in our last message.
Cheers!
It did stop syncing last year - at least on my computer. I'm glad it's back. I don't like the alternative I've been using.
So I tried syncing the calendars, and it doesn't work. Back to the headbanging...
Thank you for your response. You say "still" like it never went away. It definitely did. I had to find an alternate means of syncing, and it doesn't work as well. So it's back now - is it back to stay?
Hi AnnLD,
Thank you for the reply.
You can also send product feedback directly to Apple if you'd like to see changes or have an idea for improvement: Product Feedback.
Please message back if you have any additional questions.
Cheers!
Yes, I posted an additional question in my reply. The calendar/contacts syncing did go away for awhile. Are you saying it's back permanently?
