Undo Disable and Delete isn't working

I used "disable & delete" and now I can't "undo disable & delete. When I go to icloud, messages, and then "undo disable & delete" and all I get is a popup that says "turning on...." and then the screen freezes. I've done this several times and same result. I can not get icloud to revert back to "undo & delete" for my messages. I have 27 days until it is deleted from iCloud. Any help is appreciated.

Upgrading the storage worked for me. Apparently since my messages put the total storage over my plan limit it just wasn't working until I upgraded. They should give you a notification if that is the case.

"if i exit out of setting it’s fine. But i still can’t 'undo disable and delete'. This is my main concern. If i click 'undo disable and delete' it will respond with 'turning on' and gets stuck on that message. But never actually performs the task."

Did you just install an update? Seems to be no more than a bug that needs to be fixed.

Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this post
  4. Proceed from there as necessary
