A cracked or broken screen can be replaced. Apple offers a fixed fee “repair” for qualifying devices (i.e., those devices that are within hardware support).

For practical purposes, in lieu of repairing and returning your own iPad, Apple will usually exchange a damaged iPad for a renewed/refurbished iPad of the same model and specification. The replacement iPad will benefit from a limited warranty.

If you have benefit of an active AppleCare+ plan, the repair cost is reduced to a small service fee. Without AppleCare+, the full fixed fee will be payable.

they don't specify if the fee is the same price as the other damage one can choose in the list though to get verifcation yo may have to reach out to their official support
