Unread emails error

Even after regularly cleaning my mailbox, since few days it is showing me up with increasing number of unread emails. When i set the filter with unread emails, there are none. I tried restarting phone, clearing up my memory space, roughly 15GB of data have been deleted from iphone. No change. Refer the photos below, any solution?

Email reloading unread messages Help! My email app keeps reloading unread emails. It’s a gmail account. Using iPhone 13 which is presently updated to iOS 16.2. They appear to be the same emails I’m deleting over and over. It started a week ago when 3k+ emails loaded out of nowhere. They were previously deleted emails. Email skipping to next unread while reading a different email After the last update my email has had an issue. While reading an email the next unread email will automatically open even before I've finished reading it. I manage my important emails by keeping them unread to go back to later. It usually goes to the next email in less than 3 seconds after opening. I have restarted, tried to isolate by turning off each email. I have plenty of storage. I am hesitant to delete the app for fear of losing data. It is an iPhone 13 on iOS 16.3.1. Any help would be appreciated.

Apple mail: blue dot remains Lately the blue dot does not disappear from mail in the Apple mail app on my Iphone 14 pro(17.4.1). This only happens when the mail is read elsewhere, then synchronized. However, despite the blue dots all still being there, if you filter by "unread", none of the email show up. The app knows they have been read, but does not clear the blue dot. Restarting the phone or close the app does not help. I end up having to read each of the emails again on the phone. Why?

You have set a filter of Unread

That means there are no mails which is not read.

I have attached two images, first image, it always shows me unread messages in inbox. (405 unread ) and when i set unread filter, there are no unread messages.
