Lost iphone

my device appeared to be offline. Why is that?

One or a combination of the reasons shown below exist.

• The battery has run down
• The phone does not have a connection to the Internet where it is currently located
• Thieves are very fond of placing stolen phones in a special type of bag that will not allow the phone to receive or send a signal

Unfortunately, there is not really much that you can do, other than check a few times each day to see if the status of the phone might have changed.
