changing the name from standard Beats Fit pro to something else won't stick to buds....Im using for Peloton cycle and when I am near another Beats Fit user we get confused on separate machines. Can I not permanently change the default name of my earbuds?

Changing Beats Name Permanently:
You need to use an Android device to perform this. Unfortunately, Beats App is not an option for an Apple device. Once used, they would be permanently-namable in there: https://www.beatsbydre.com/mobile-apps
Beats Contact Us Info:
Contact the manufacturer, and request assistance with finding a solution. Ask them for some tip on troubleshooting this, and ask if you can get a swapout. They make the product. So, they'd know an upfront answer.
