Apple Watch Series 6, black screen

Apple watch series 6 black screen, I have tried everything - force restart, allowing battery to go flat, eventually reset the software but it had been working fine, just one afternoon, screen went black. I checked the serial against the known Blank Screen Issue but unfortunately the watch is slightly outside of the two year deadline. This is pretty poor, if there was a chance of this happening should I not have been given a warning to check the serial within the two years. Now, I have a dead paperweight, which will cost over €400 to repair??

Absolutely sounds crazy but it worked!! Our series 6 has been no screen or vibrations or anything for a week now.. found your answer with the freezer suggestion and 20 minutes in the freezer and BAM it’s working got it to turn on and it was fully charged!! Not sure why it happened but THANK YOU!!!!!!

This sounds crazy but just found this video on YouTube and every person said it worked for them in the comments....by the 6th step something will work

Hard reset with both buttons pressed for 15 seconds

Go in your watch app on your phone and change the "face" on your watch - doesn't matter which one. Put back on charger and hold crown and side button until apple logo appears...if that doesn't work

Take watch off charger tap side button 15 times really fast then crown immediately after 15 times. Put back on charger, hold side buttons again to force start

Take off charger, rub your watch face really hard with your thumbs all over, really press hard for like 10-12 seconds. Turn over and do the same to the back. Tap the side buttons again a bunch. If still black...

Set watch down flat and tap watch face a bunch, pretty hard with finger all over, flip over and repeat on backside. Tap all over

If none of that worked put in freezer for 15-20 minutes. Then put on charger (50% of people said this is what worked for them)

If still nothing start at step 1 again.

Good luck!!

Two days before i just kept my watch on charge after my office and what i see later is blank screen . I tried lot of trouble shot steps provided for Apple Series 6 watch on my watch as well and then reached out to customer care . They also mentioned same debugging steps and nothing worked . I searched about this known issue on Series 6 watch - Official Apple Supportapple-watch-series6-service-program-for-blank-screen-issue and reached out to customer care to enquire about same .Later they asked me to visit the customer care service centre and there what i hear that my watch is not covered under this program as it doesnt matches the criteria . Now i would question them , what criteria's matter here as the issue is same that is known issue mentioned in official site of Apple program . If this issue is happening 2 years later , is this customer fault ?

Why customer should bear the loss unnecessary even though its not there mistake at all .

I would request Apple team to see what help can be done as its a known issue which came later "as per your criteria " in my watch .
