Per instructions to export workout data from my apple watch 7 it says to go to the health profile on my iphone and scroll down to the Export all data option. On my iphone when I look at my profile there is not export option. Next steps?

Oh, I'm so glad to hear you got it figured out! I wasn't sure what to suggest next. And yes, I agree that having the two different apps can sometimes lead to confusion.

Okay. The equipment line in your original post says iOS 11.
So, you should see it. Just to make sure nothing is being missed... You're going to the Health app, tapping your account icon in the upper right corner then swiping all the way down to the bottom of the screen, right? And you don't see anything like this?
Maybe start by force quitting Health.
Are you truly using iOS 11? If so, I believe the procedure was different though I don't recall what it was.
My iphone SE is on version 16.6 and my series 7 is on 9.6 and says it's up-to-date.
