MacBook Air is unresponsive after losing battery

I accidentally left my MacBook Air on my bed overnight, causing its battery to drain since it wasn't connected to a charger. However, when I attempt to power it on, the screen doesn't display the dead charging battery symbol and seems to be completely unresponsive. When I try to charge it nothing happens.

Try and charge it for a prolonged period of time, more than an hour to see if the issue persists
