How do I revert back to my original Apple ID for the App Store?

I made an error and was trying to create an entirely new Apple ID. Instead, I created a new Apple ID just for my App Store purchases. My original Apple ID for everything else remains the same. Is there a way for me to revert back to my regular Apple ID for app purchases?
