AppleCare family plan

My father bought me some new Apple products (MacBook, iPad, iPhone) for college and covered all of them with AppleCare, under his name (+theft and loss for my phone). We were wondering: if one of my electronics breaks while I’m away at school, will I be able to get what I need repaired/replaced even though it’s under his account as the owner of our family plan and not mine? Thank you!

What do you mean he covered them under his name?

Apple Care+ is tied to the device, not a specific person.

There is no such thing as an Apple Care+ family plan. Apple Care is device specific.

You can verify your Apple Care+ status in the Settings App of your iPhone., iPad and Mac. In Settings ➜ General ➜ About ➜ Coverage.

If anything happens to the devices, they can taken to an Apple Store and they can look up the serial number and coverage status for them.
