How do I search for a mail folder in Mail by name?

The answer is, use the "Help" menu search field, not the search window.

Posting this here in response to closed "Finding Folders in Mail" question elsewhere in which author said: "I have lots of folders and sub-folders in which I file emails. I can easily search for, and find, email messages in Mail's search window. But how do I find folders that are buried in other folders? I know the name of the folder I want, but I don't know where it's buried."

Yes! I had this problem. Alas, the solution wasn't in that other closed question. So I'm posting it here, in case others have the same issue.

It turns out the "Help" field gives you the folder locations and shows you the whole context, folders, subfolders. It's really cool.

The search field just helps you find emails. Each email also has a faded icon of a folder and name where the email resides, but alas, you can't simply click that icon to get to the folder.

But, "Help" does the job.

Thanks! I did check out the support page, but it's geared toward finding emails, not folders, and it did not have anything helpful about folders on it.

Who updates that page?

I move that they add a "to find folders, use the 'Help' menu search field".

It makes a big difference. Below is a helpful screenshot.

Fun fact, if you hover over the results in the Help menu, it will pop open the Messages > Move to > and wherever your folder is in there panes and sub-panes. See second screenshot below.

And a followup question, why does the help menu show two instances of the folder? It's the same folder.

Here's the screengrab where I hover over the "Finances>Stripe" result in the Help menu, and the "Message" pane opens up. I've cropped the screengrab but the whole things goes pretty far down into my folders and sub-folders, and made it easy to see exactly where the folder is.
