I don't know my iPhone backup password

I have it backed up to my MacBook and don't have the original iPhone anymore, just the backup on my Mac and a new different iPhone. Is there a way to reset that password without the original phone?

"You can’t restore an encrypted backup without its password. With iOS 11 or later or iPadOS, you can make a new encrypted backup of your device by resetting the password."
