How can I change my original email?

When I first got my Apple ID I used the first email I had. I no longer have this email but I can’t figure out to change this email! It’s getting frustrating! It tells me-you can not delete the email associated with your Apple ID. What can I do???

  1. Contact Apple Support:The best course of action is to contact Apple Support for assistance. Explain your situation to them, and they may be able to help you update the email associated with your Apple ID. They might ask for verification information to ensure your identity before making any changes.
  2. Create a New Apple ID:If you're unable to update the email associated with your existing Apple ID, you can consider creating a new Apple ID with your current email address. Keep in mind that this would involve starting fresh, and you might lose access to any purchases, subscriptions, or data associated with your old Apple ID.
  3. Recover Your Old Email Account:If your original email account is still recoverable, you might consider trying to regain access to it. You can contact the email service provider (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook) and follow their account recovery process to regain access to your email account. Once you have access to the original email, you can then update your Apple ID email.
  4. Merge Apple IDs (if eligible):In some cases, Apple Support might be able to help you merge your old Apple ID with a new one, allowing you to retain your purchases and other content. This would require Apple's assistance and might not always be possible.

Remember that your Apple ID is used for various Apple services, including iCloud, App Store, iTunes, and more. Changing or creating a new Apple ID can have implications for your access to these services and your purchased content.

It's usually a pretty straightforward process. Have you followed the instructions in this article?

Change your Apple ID - Apple Support

Do NOT create a new Apple ID, despite the recommendation above. It will create all sorts of problems and should only be done if there is no other option.

That is not possible. Apple has never offered this option.

Yes, it has implications. It means you lose access to them. Please make sure to check the answers you're getting from the AI before posting them. You could do someone a lot of harm by posting nonsense.
