How to get back to default Music Player media storage location without losing playlist
I'm trying to get back to default folder structure for Apple Music player. I tried creating a folder for Music/Music/Media but then it creates another "music" folder in media. I did the typical steps of changing to the directory I wanted, unchecked keep files organized, and then did consolidate library. I'm trying to lessen the hierarchy as I approach certain character limits in other programs. Also dropbox is doing a major API change so I'd rather have my file structure safe until I'm eligible for the File Provider API upgrade (this is changing the path/location for all users). I can't afford to lose any playlists. It's a massive collection. It seems like I'm close but not exactly. I held option key and created a test new library and it goes to Music/Music/Media properly. But consolidate seems to add an additional folder (named "music") and skip the "media" folder I've created to store the actual files and folder structure. I'm on Sonoma by the way (risky but In love with it and I tested on a previous volume for over a month with the programs I use)
